Two-way scoring guard with real playmaking juice
Dontae Cannon profiles as a guard who can impact the game on both ends, with scoring, steals, and shot-blocking showing up in his production profile. The key differentiator is his activity level: he brings disruptive defense, competes hard, and can create offense without needing everything run through him. That makes him a useful fit for teams that value pace, toughness, and positional versatility. I could not verify a reliable 2025-26 McNeese State stat line from the provided results, so this evaluation is based on the available data and roster context.
