Mariah Wilson is Longwood’s steady two-way spark plug at guard
Mariah Wilson has been a reliable, high-impact guard for Longwood, finishing the 2024-25 season at 9.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while giving the Lancers backcourt toughness, shot-making and opportunistic defense. In January 2025, she flashed real ceiling with a career-high 23 points and five rebounds in a win at UNC Asheville, and she also ranked among the Big South’s best in steals at that point, showing her ability to swing games on both ends. She looks like the kind of player who fits winning teams: composed, active, and able to fill gaps without needing the ball every possession.
