Billy Garrett Jr. is a high-IQ DePaul guard whose value has always been steadiness, leadership, and production
Garrett was a proven two-way college lead guard for DePaul, finishing with 1,500+ points, 400+ assists, and the program’s career free-throws-made record, which points to a composed, reliable creator rather than a volume scorer.[2][6] In the 2014 season, he showed early shot-creation and playmaking as a rookie, averaging 16 points and 4 assists in a weekly honor stretch.[4] His biggest differentiators are efficiency, poise, and classroom/locker-room credibility—he was also the 2017 BIG EAST Scholar-Athlete of the Year.[2]
