Sione Lolohea brings veteran power and disruption to FSU’s defensive front
Lolohea is a proven, battle-tested DL who transferred from Oregon State and immediately gave Florida State a sturdy, physical presence up front. In the 2024 season, he played 12 games for FSU and posted 23 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and a pass breakup, while earning FSU’s Defense Newcomer of the Year nod. What makes him valuable is the combo of size, motor, and reliability: he’s a tone-setter who can hold the edge, squeeze gaps, and create messy plays that don’t always show up in tidy box scores.
