Ryan Porche is a big-bodied righty with a starter’s frame and serious strike-throwing upside
In the 2026 season, Porche is listed by Houston Christian as a 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior pitcher, and his profile screams power-arm potential with a durable build and a reputation for missing bats dating back to high school, where he posted a 3.38 ERA with 86 strikeouts and helped Jesuit win a state title[1][9]. He also arrives with a low-mileage college resume after limited action at Louisiana Tech, which makes him more of an upside play than a finished product[4]. If a staff wants a physical right-hander who brings size, arm strength, and room to develop, Porche is the kind of sleeper who can grow into a useful piece fast[1][4].
