Aidan Dowd is Fordham’s workhorse righty with strikeout pop and rotation trust
In the 2026 season, Dowd was a weekend-rotation staple for Fordham, going 3-4 with a 6.29 ERA and 33 strikeouts in a career-high 63.0 innings, while his 2025 form showed the upside: a 3-7 record, 50 strikeouts in 56.0 innings, a team-best 3.77 ERA, and a .227 opponent average. He’s a 6-foot-1, right-handed starter who has already earned Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week honors, and the appeal here is reliability plus swing-and-miss ability. In short: not flashy, but the kind of arm coaches love to hand the ball to.
