Mason Wilson brings veteran versatility and steady glove work to UCF
Mason Wilson is a redshirt senior catcher/first baseman for UCF who brings older-player poise, defensive flexibility, and a solid contact profile to the Knights. In the 2026 season, he appeared in 8 games with 4 starts, hit .167 with 2 hits in 12 at-bats, and handled his defensive chances cleanly for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. He also arrived with a proven college track record at Rollins, so the appeal is less about flash and more about dependable depth, maturity, and a low-drama fit for a roster that values toughness and experience.
