CJ Willis brings size, clutch-hit juice, and a high-effort bat to Memphis
In the 2025 season, Memphis outfielder CJ Willis showed a knack for timely contact, including a walk-off two-run single in extra innings and another multi-RBI game, while his roster profile lists him at 6-3, 225 with a left-handed bat and right-handed arm. He looks like a physical, versatile corner outfielder who can handle DH/RF duties and deliver in pressure spots; the tradeoff is that his recent college track record is still limited, so he fits best as a depth-plus, upside bat with real situational value.
