Greyson Gegg brings plus arm, patience, and outfield versatility for Mercer
Greyson Gegg is a 6-foot-3 sophomore outfielder for Mercer who looks like a classic breakout candidate in 2026: he played a limited role in 2025, but Mercer says his on-base ability is a standout, his arm is a weapon, and he can handle any outfield spot. In high school, he hit .413 with 3 home runs and 31 RBI as a senior, and Mercer’s staff praised his approach and summer production over .300. If you want a corner/outfield defender with upside, strike-zone feel, and some sneaky pop, he’s a name to watch.
