Drayden Pavey brings legit size and production to Wisconsin's defensive front
Pavey is a three-star defensive lineman from Cincinnati who posted a dominant 2024 senior season at Taft with 87 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and 24 tackles for loss, earning Ohio Division IV defensive player of the year honors. He is valued for his power, interior disruption, and ability to collapse plays in the backfield, which makes him more than a box-score recruit. Wisconsin’s staff likes him as a physical fit up front, but he has not yet joined the program, so his near-term impact depends on when he arrives and gets settled.
