In the 2025-26 season, Colbert has been a low-usage but active Troy guard who impacts games with defense, ball pressure and secondary playmaking, averaging 2.1 points, 0.7 assists and 0.6 steals in 18 appearances while shooting 41.7% from three.[1] His best value is his two-way competitive edge: he came to Troy after a decorated high-school career as a proven scorer and creator, but at the college level he is showing more of a role-player profile that can fit a team needing toughness, energy and perimeter defense rather than a high-volume shot creator.[9][11]
