Wyatt Hummel adds size, versatility and depth to Colorado’s offensive line
Wyatt Hummel is a 6-foot-6, 315-pound graduate transfer who gives Colorado a big-frame, multi-role OL option after arriving from Villanova in 2024. In his first season with the Buffaloes, he played the final nine games primarily on special teams and logged nine offensive snaps at left tackle, which suggests he was a depth piece more than a finished starter[4]. His appeal is his size, experience, and flexibility across the line; the tradeoff is that he enters 2026 best viewed as a developmental, next-man-up fit rather than a proven high-volume starter.
