Nick Bruno brings polished left-handed command to UNC Asheville
Nick Bruno looks like a dependable **LHP with polish and competitiveness**, built more on strike-throwing and feel than sheer power. His recruiting profile lists a left-handed delivery, a fastball that has sat around the mid-80s with a top mark of 89 mph, and a usable changeup, while Perfect Game ranked him among the better prospects in his class. He also showed real run prevention early in his pro/affiliated work, including a 1.35 ERA in 6.2 innings for Kingsport in 2024, which suggests he can help if you value a strike-thrower who competes and can fit multiple roles.[1][2][5]
