Jace Roossien brings switch-hitting upside and catcher-athlete versatility to Boston College
Roossien is a 6-foot, 185-pound switch-hitting C/OF who gives Boston College rare lineup flexibility and real defensive utility, and he entered 2026 after a strong prep résumé at Phillips Academy, where he captained the team and won MVP honors. The upside is in the bat speed and projectability scouts liked early, but his 2025-26 college production has been uneven, with limited offensive impact in early 2026. He’s the kind of player a team likes for athleticism, makeup, and versatility more than loud current numbers.
