Zayden Walters brings freshman size and upside to WKU’s defensive front
The 2026 Western Kentucky freshman defensive tackle is a big-bodied interior prospect at 6-3 and 320 pounds, arriving from Brookwood HS with a reputation as a two-way lineman who won offensive line MVP honors at a camp and drew more than 25 Division I offers. He looks like a classic “plug-and-push” interior piece: size, power, and a relentless motor, with enough versatility that coaches project him on the defensive line despite his offensive-line background. With no college stats yet listed, he’s more of a development bet than a finished product, but the ceiling is obvious if WKU wants a space-eating disruptor.
