SDSU's Historic Triple-Double Pioneer and MWC Defensive Star (2015-16 Peak)
Winston Shepard, a 6'8" versatile forward for San Diego State Aztecs, etched his name in program history with the first triple-double (10 pts, 10 reb, 10 ast) during the 2015-16 season, where he averaged 11.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists across 35 games while earning 2× Second-team All-MWC and All-Defensive honors. His high-motor intensity, rebounding tenacity, and playmaking smarts made him a glue-guy differentiator; post-college pro success abroad underscores his NBA-caliber fit for teams needing tough, multi-faceted forwards—though he's been out of NCAA since 2016.
