Tulane’s McClure brings burst, balance, and a little spring-loaded juice
Jamauri McClure looks like a useful 2026 Tulane back with real home-run speed, compact size at 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, and a proven track record of efficiency: in the 2025 season he logged 83 carries for 540 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns, plus 3 catches for 8 yards. He was a three-star recruit with verified athletic pop — a 4.49 forty and 10.7 100-meter speed — and his 2026 camp has been clouded by a left foot injury that could delay his opener. If you want quick-twitch explosiveness, he’s intriguing; if you need a healthy Week 1 bell cow, maybe pump the brakes.
