John Dawson gives Liberty a steady backcourt presence with proven scoring and playmaking
John Dawson’s latest Liberty production shows a dependable guard who can handle the ball, create offense, and contribute across the board; in the 2016-17 season, he averaged 7.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists while shooting 40.9% from the field, and Liberty credited him with leading the team at 2.7 assists per game and 4.2 rebounds per game, a nice indicator of his all-around utility. What stands out is his floor vision and willingness to rebound as a guard, making him a useful fit for teams that value steadiness, versatility, and low-drama production.
