Depth-piece forward for Cheyney with size but limited 2025-26 production
In the 2025-26 season, Jose Rivera is a junior forward for Cheyney listed at 6-foot-4 and has logged just one game with 3 minutes played, so the stat sheet says “very early sample size” more than “finished product.” His fit is mostly about wing/forward depth, positional versatility, and energy; he’s not yet putting up numbers, but a player with his frame can still matter if he brings defense, hustle, and toughness every night. For a team looking for immediate production, the resume is thin; for a staff that values developmental upside and role acceptance, there’s something to work with.
