Olivia White brings Puerto Rico-tested toughness to Iona’s backcourt
Olivia White, a 5-foot-8 freshman guard for Iona in the 2026-27 season, is a Bronx-born, St. Luke’s School product who stands out for toughness, selflessness, and international experience rather than empty-box-score flash. She helped Puerto Rico win gold at the 2023 FIBA Centrobasket U17 Women’s Championship and finished sixth at the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s Americup, where she averaged 3.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. The fit? High-energy connective guard with proven winning background—nice little package for a team that values grit, versatility, and doing the dirty work.
