infield depth with Power-4 experience at Iowa State
Sydney Malott brings Power-4 experience and infield versatility to Iowa State, a profile that can matter as much as box-score production for a roster looking for dependable depth and a steady glove. The available results do not provide current 2026 stat-leader context, so I can’t credibly cite season-by-season numbers here; based on her roster status alone, she looks more like a stability and fit addition than a pure headline-grabber. If you want a player who can strengthen competition, practice intensity, and defensive insurance, she is the kind of fit to monitor.
