Krug’s rebounding and rim protection are earning her a bigger role at Lafayette
In the 2025-26 season, freshman forward Maddison Krug has emerged as a high-motor interior presence for Lafayette, averaging 3.8 points and 7.3 rebounds in 29 games while adding 1.3 blocks per game and shooting 49.5% from the field. She’s a 6-foot-3 forward whose game is built on hustle, boards, and paint defense; Lafayette also noted her increased role after an injury opened minutes, and she already posted a career-high 11 points and 14 rebounds for her first double-double.
