Deonata Jethroe

Deonata Jethroe gives Troy a sturdy, two-way guard-forward blend

Deonata Jethroe has been a versatile Troy piece, listed at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds with guard/forward flexibility, and his best stretch came in 2012-13 when he averaged 8.0 points, 2.6 assists, and shot 44.6% from the field while leading the team’s guards in accuracy. His game stands out for physicality, downhill rebounding, and the ability to create offense without hijacking possessions—more glue-guy than volume gunner. If a team wants a tough, multi-position competitor who can pass, score in bunches, and do the dirty work, Jethroe fits the bill.
