Luke Devine emerging as a power-speed corner outfielder for Santa Clara
Devine has been one of Santa Clara’s most productive bats, hitting .255 with a .366 OBP, .536 slugging percentage, seven home runs, 10 doubles, and 24 RBI in 2025, while also finishing strong with a six-game hitting streak and a late-season surge at the plate.[1][3] At 6-foot-4, 195 pounds, he brings legit right-handed power, run production, and enough on-base skill to matter in the middle of a lineup; for a 2026 college staff, the appeal is a young outfielder who already looks like an impact bat with room to keep growing.[1][3][5]
