Lee Matsuzaki is giving Nevada a real middle-of-the-order spark
In the 2026 season, Lee Matsuzaki has been a productive left-handed OF for Nevada, batting .333 with an 1.101 OPS, 8 doubles, 3 homers, 9 RBIs, and 17 runs in limited action, then heating up once he earned a full-time role.[2][3][4] The big differentiator is impact: Nevada notes he “continued his tear” after entering the lineup full-time, and he’s shown pop with multiple multi-hit games and a two-homer outing at Fresno State.[3][4][6] He’s a fit for teams wanting an energetic corner outfielder with sneaky power, strong contact skills, and momentum on his side.[1][2][3]
