Jimmy Mantuano keeps FDU’s outfield buzzing with clutch bat and steady production
In the 2025 season, Jimmy Mantuano was a clear spark for Fairleigh Dickinson, earning NEC Player of the Week honors after going 8-for-15 (.533) with seven runs and five RBIs, and he followed that with more pop in 2026, including his fifth home run on April 17. He profiles as a left-handed bat with gap power, contact skills, and enough speed to contribute on the bases, while FDU’s own notes show him as a returning everyday outfielder in the middle of a veteran-leaning lineup. If you want a grinder who can hit, run, and handle meaningful at-bats, he’s your guy.
