Marsicek looks like a high-floor infield piece for Indiana State: in 2025 she earned MVC All-Defensive Team honors after handling 146 chances at third base with 48 putouts, 87 assists and a .925 fielding percentage, and in the 2026 preseason the Sycamores said she had started every game while leading returning hitters with a .292 average and 40 hits.
