Gavin Thomas brings contact pop and versatility to Davidson’s outfield
In the 2025 season, Gavin Thomas gave Davidson a useful blend of productivity and flexibility, hitting .250 with a .950 OPS in 19 games while adding three doubles, a home run, and four RBIs; he also brings a strong prep pedigree, with all-district honors, team MVP recognition, and Gold Glove/versatility awards that point to a polished two-way defender with lineup value. He looks like a fit for a team that wants an athletic outfielder who can help in multiple roles rather than a one-tool bat.
