Maggie Klug gives Lafayette reliable, run-producing catcher play
Klug is a steady, contact-oriented catcher for Lafayette who started 32 of 33 games in 2025 and brings value beyond the bat with strong game management and 10 runners caught stealing that season. Her offense has been modest at the college level, but she has shown timely-hit ability, including a 3-for-5, 1-RBI game against Lehigh on May 2, 2026 and a two-RBI day against Holy Cross in April 2026. She also earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recognition, suggesting a dependable, high-character fit for a program that values consistency, toughness, and defensive trust behind the plate.
