low-usage HCU forward with size, hustle, and upside
In the 2025-26 season, Caleb Gaston has been a depth forward for Houston Christian, appearing in 24 games and producing modest box-score numbers, but his 6'7", 220-pound frame and willingness to do the dirty work give him value beyond scoring. Reliable stat trackers show limited offensive usage, yet he still brings rebounding, physicality, and occasional second-chance energy—most notably a tap-in in HCU’s win over College of Biblical Studies. If you want a role player who can defend, compete, and fit a team-first culture, he’s the kind of glue guy worth a look.
