Derek Sabin brings Belmont a tough, efficient frontcourt presence
At Belmont, Derek Sabin profiles as a rugged 6-9 forward who brings size, strength, and sneaky shooting touch; in the 2022-23 season he averaged 1.4 points and 1.6 rebounds, with a compact role that still reflected solid efficiency around the rim and from the stripe. He’s the kind of glue guy coaches trust because he plays physical, stays ready, and has a reputation for being a high-character, academic-minded teammate. If your team needs interior depth, energy, and a mature low-maintenance fit, Sabin checks those boxes.
