Freshman Georgia Tech right-hander beginning her college climb
Charlotte Smith entered Georgia Tech as a freshman RHP from North Atlanta HS and has already logged early-season innings in 2026, including a 1.2-inning, no-hit collegiate debut with her first strikeout[2][4][5]. Her profile suggests a developmental arm with upside: the Jackets have used her in relief, and early usage indicates trust in her poise and strike-throwing rather than gaudy volume[5][6][10][11]. If you want a young pitcher with local ties, composure, and room to grow, she’s a name to watch.
