Darryl Lee is Bethune-Cookman’s lineup spark: a lefty bat with extra-base pop and big-game juice
In the 2025 season, Darryl Lee hit .299 with 61 hits, 9 home runs, 13 doubles, a team-high 5 triples, and 46 RBI, then carried that momentum into 2026 with a SWAC Hitter of the Week nod after a 10-hit, 5-double series burst. He’s the kind of outfielder who can change a game with contact, speed, and gap power, and he’s shown he can handle pressure against ranked teams. Add in steady defense in the outfield and a reputation for production in the top of the order, and he looks like a plug-and-play run creator with real competitive edge.
