Cali Legzdin is JMU’s two-way offensive spark plug with power, speed, and lineup versatility
Legzdin has emerged as one of James Madison’s most dangerous bats, following a 2026 sophomore season in which she hit .328 with 10 home runs, 32 RBI, and a .642 slugging percentage while earning Second Team All-Sun Belt honors. What makes her stand out is the rare combo of power and speed: she paired extra-base punch with elite baserunning, after stealing 24 bags in 2025, and she has also handled multiple defensive spots for the Dukes. For a team, she brings impact at the plate, aggressiveness on the bases, and proven big-game production.
