Dartmouth’s new-look lefty brings deceptive strike-throwing and early-season poise
Nathan Matoush entered Dartmouth as a first-year 6-foot-3, 210-pound left-hander with a reputation for a deceptive arm slot, a fastball that can play up, and a confident attack-the-zone approach. In the 2026 season, he logged 13 appearances and three starts, including scoreless work at Brown and Yale, plus relief innings in which he mixed strikeouts with the occasional walk. The fit is obvious for teams that want a competitive southpaw with size, feel, and upside rather than pure velocity fireworks; he looks like the kind of arm that can quietly become a very useful piece.
