Dashawn Webster brings compact, rangy linebacker upside to Glenville State
Dashawn Webster enters Glenville State as a 6-foot, 193-pound redshirt junior linebacker from Philippi, W.Va., with a reputation for disruptive, high-motor play rather than just clean-up tackles.[1][2] His high school résumé was loud: 108 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, five pass breakups, four forced fumbles, three recoveries and a sack in his senior season, plus a No. 3 linebacker ranking in Class AA.[2] He looks like a fit for a defense that values instinct, violence at the point of attack, and splash plays.
