Belmont’s sharp-shooting former standout, now a proven winner behind the bench
In the 2021-22 season, Luke Smith was a captain at Belmont and earned All-Newcomer, Academic All-American, and MVP honors, showing he’s more than a stat line: he brought leadership, IQ, and big-game poise. He also helped Belmont stack wins as a player and later as staff, including a 26-win 2025-26 season and the program’s first Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title. If you want a basketball mind with toughness, professionalism, and a track record of elevating winning cultures, Smith is the real deal.
