Macee Eaton’s breakout bat is powering Virginia’s lineup
Virginia IF/UT Macee Eaton is having a monster 2026 season, leading the Cavaliers with a .491 average, 54 hits, and only three strikeouts through 34 games, while chasing her own program RBI record after setting it last year with 63 in 2025. The big differentiator here isn’t just the power numbers — it’s the discipline and mindset shift: reporting from the Virginia Daily says Eaton focused on the mental game, and the payoff has been a calmer, more dangerous hitter who drives the ball and controls at-bats. If you want an impact bat with confidence and clutch production, she’s your kind of player.
