D'Mariun Perteet brings proven JUCO production and downhill pop to Coastal Carolina
In the 2024 season at Northwest Mississippi CC, D'Mariun Perteet was a workhorse—1,360 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, with 100+ rushing yards in eight games and a program-record scoring pace, which is exactly the kind of juice Coastal Carolina wanted from its backfield addition. He entered Coastal as a 5-foot-11, 212-pound junior from Courtland, Miss., and the biggest differentiator is his production against real workload, not just flash: he has already shown he can carry an offense, finish runs with force, and keep the chains moving. Coastal listed him as not appearing in a game in 2025, so his fit is still more projection than proof at the FBS level.
