Mason Pirello is a contact-first, versatile Coug with sneaky pop and local-baller grit
In the 2026 season, Mason Pirello has been a useful Washington State bat, hitting .261 with a .366 OBP, 8 doubles, 17 RBI, and a .740 OPS across 48 games[3][10]. He flashed impact with a three-hit game and his first career homer against Seattle U, and he’s added extra-base punch with a triple and multiple RBI games for WSU[5][9]. What stands out beyond the box score: a right-handed local product from Sammamish who competes, draws walks, and has enough athleticism to play both football and baseball at a high level[1][4][13].
