Janea Hudson brings steady two-way depth and academic edge to NCCU softball
In the 2026 season, Janea Hudson was a versatile contributor for North Carolina Central, starting 37 games at first base and also listed as a pitcher, while posting 11 hits, 5 RBIs, a double, and a triple in 41 appearances.[2] Her profile suggests value as a dependable roster fit rather than a pure stat-stuffer: she offers positional flexibility, right-handed power potential, and clear commitment off the field as a CSC Academic All-District honoree with at least a 3.5 GPA.[4] That combination makes her appealing for teams that want a coachable, team-first player who can cover multiple roles.[2][4]
