Lucas Greer brings power stuff, strike-throwing aggression, and comeback grit to UCA’s rotation
In the 2025 season, Central Arkansas right-hander Lucas Greer flashed real swing-and-miss upside in limited action, striking out 10 batters in 8.1 innings, but also battled inconsistency with an 8.64 ERA and 6 walks. UCA coaches praised his intensity, conviction, and aggressive approach in the strike zone, and his path matters: he returned after Tommy John surgery and a preseason Achilles injury wiped out his 2024 season. If your team wants a competitive, strike-eating pitcher with upside and toughness, Greer is absolutely worth a look.
