Carlos Orr-Gillespie is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound Utah State wideout who arrived with three-star pedigree and a strong high-school resume: 1,035 receiving yards and nine TDs as a junior, then 730 yards and 11 TDs as a senior, plus all-state honors. He also redshirted at Illinois in 2024 and did not record stats in 2025, so the appeal is projection, not production—yet. The differentiator is size plus length as an outside receiver, with enough multi-sport toughness to suggest he can handle physical football and develop into a real stretch-the-field piece.
