Jack Helms has emerged as a high-leverage arm for EIU
In 2026, Jack Helms has shown value as a bullpen weapon for Eastern Illinois, highlighted by a stellar relief outing against Northern Illinois and a season in which he had been trusted enough to take a loss in a tight series game against Little Rock.[3][1] His profile points to a pitcher who can handle pressure and be deployed in important innings, which is the kind of trait that matters when evaluating whether he fits a team looking for competitive, attack-minded relief depth.[3][1]
