Ayden Emmons brings downhill pop and run-fit reliability to Tennessee Tech
Ayden Emmons arrived at Tennessee Tech as a freshman linebacker with a reputation for being a run stuffer who diagnoses plays quickly, sheds blocks, and attacks the ball with physicality. In his 2024 high school season at Riverdale, he led the Warriors with 120 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, and five pass breakups, which is the kind of across-the-board production that hints at a well-rounded defender. He looks like a good fit for a team that values aggressive, instinctive defense and a linebacker who plays with edge rather than flash.
