Brady Coon brings two-way upside and strike-throwing grit to SIUE
Brady Coon is a 6-foot-2, right-handed sophomore who gives SIUE flexible value as a RHP/OF, and in the 2026 season he’s already shown he can handle high-leverage starts, including three hitless innings with five strikeouts against Eastern Michigan. His profile is built on versatility and competitiveness, but the run prevention has been uneven in the 2025-26 sample, with walk volume a clear stress point. He still looks like a useful fit for a staff that wants a pitcher who can take the ball, compete, and give lineup flexibility when needed.
