6'6" RHP with pro-size upside and a Phillies UDFA path
Brendan Sweeney is a right-handed pitcher with a projectable 6'6", 200-pound frame, and Baseball America lists him as a Mississippi State arm born in 2003 with the kind of physical profile pro teams like to bet on.[1] Recent reporting says he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Phillies after the draft, which suggests his value is tied to upside, pitchability, and development potential rather than eye-popping public stat lines.[3] If you want a tall, durable-looking starter-type with room to add strength and sharpen his stuff, he is the sort of low-risk, high-upside fit teams keep watching.[1][3]
