Houston Christian’s steady floor-general with money-range touch
Marcel Smith’s calling card is control: in the 2013-14 season at Houston Christian, the 5-6 guard averaged 6.2 points and 3.0 assists while leading the team with 78 assists, plus he shot 36.9% from three and 88.9% at the line[2][7][9]. He’s the kind of guard coaches love for his poise, decision-making, and reliability rather than flash, and the record shows he could chip in as a creator and perimeter shooter[2][7]. The biggest differentiator is playmaking with efficiency—small frame, big organizer energy.
