Alexander Pearson brings left-handed pop and freshman upside to Washington
In the 2026 season, Washington freshman Alexander Pearson has flashed early value in a limited sample, appearing in 14 games with six starts and producing six hits, two doubles, and eight RBIs. The left-handed 1B/OF gives the Huskies a 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame and a bat that can do damage without needing to be loud about it—nice fit if you want developing power with some positional flexibility. The sample is still small, but the early takeaway is encouraging: he’s already showing run production and enough polish to get college at-bats as a first-year player.
