Jack Maiale brings two-way size and upside to Delaware’s staff-and-infield mix
Maiale is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound sophomore RHP/INF for Delaware, a blend of power-build physicality and roster flexibility that makes him interesting beyond raw numbers[1]. Publicly available roster info confirms his role and frame, while prep scouting described him as a long right-handed hitter with projectable tools[1][9]. The appeal here is upside: a big-bodied athlete who can help in multiple spots and fits a program that values developmental pieces with real arm strength and positional versatility[1].
